A sure win business!

There’s a business concept in the world that only Malaysia has it and only certain people can have it. Thats toll operator. You can compensated from not being able to get a hike on your toll fee and thats means always earn – never ever go bankrupt business. Here’s the new toll rate for some juicy yummy big smile shaped lips formed on toll operators’ face.

KUALA LUMPUR: Toll rates of five highways – Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP), Lebuhraya Shah Alam, Lebuhraya Cheras-Kajang, Lebuhraya KL-Karak and Lebuhraya Koridor Guthrie – will be raised from between 30 sen and RM 1 from Jan 1 2007.

The new toll charges are: LDP, RM1.60 (previously RM1), L’raya Shah Alam, RM2.20 (RM1.50), L’raya Cheras-Kajang, Batu 9, RM 1 (70 sen) L’raya Cheras-Kajang, Batu 11, 90 sen (60 sen ), L’raya KL-Karak-Gombak, RM5, L’raya KL-Karak-Bentong, RM3 (RM2.50) and L’raya Koridor Guthrie, RM1.40 (RM1).

Works Minister, who announced the rates on Thursday, said the rates were much lower than what the highway concessionaires had asked for, in accordance with their concession agreements.

He said the government revised the demanded rates, because it did not want consumers to be burdened.

Aren’t we having more burden to bear now Mr Government? You are being sarcastic here.

KL-Karak-Gombak – RM5
KL-Karak-Bentong – RM3 (previously RM2.50)
Guthrie Corridor – RM1.40 (previously RM1)
LDP – RM1.60 (previously RM1)
KESAS – RM2.20 (previously RM1.50)
Cheras-Kajang, Batu 9 – RM 1 (previously 70 sen)
Cheras-Kajang, Batu 11, 90 sen (previously 60 sen )
Well…. basically I’m using LDP everyday and now need to forking up additional RM 0.60 x 2 (round-trip) and thats 60% more than what I’m actually paying now.. Wow? Sweat……
