Following a series of heavy crimes like gang rape and robbery happened in Johor Baru in the Crime Capital of Malaysia, Johor has caught the nation’s attention. The local folks gathered to protest outside the Mentri Besar’s residence. There is even a petition held to collect 10,000 signatures to express the dissatisfaction and fear of the Johor residents to the string of crimes happened throughout the years.

There is a joke by the local that says “You are not Johorian if you are not robbed before”. The crime activities in Johor are so serious that people start to joke in this way.
Interesting enough is that all the rape victims are Chinese. Politicians urged the people (Chinese) not to turn the incidents into a racial issue.
The police are under heavy pressure. They sent more than 300 police to “calm” the local by having more patrols and making more presence in crime prone area. But, what have been they doing all this while before this string of crimes happened? Goyang Kaki I guess.

Given similar scenario, on the road, where there is a pothole, there must have several people died because of it and having the mass media highlighting it, then only you will find the authority repair it speedily next day. This shows how inefficient the local council is, so do the police.

A brief flashback of what happened in the past is that, the police patrol car did not stop when there is someone asking for help on the highway and instead asked other accomplices to check on the situation. The operator that answered the call for help refused to believe thus did not take any action from the victim’s brother who called for help. The policewoman had seriously brought down the credibility/reputation of the police force when she asked the rape victim “Are you sure you are raped? You look so calm” when the victim braved herself to come to the police station to lodge a report.

We need Superman! Superman would not ask other for the rescue when somebody is in danger as there is only one Superman outside there. Superman is not racist. Superman would not care what race you are to help at all. Superman can reach the crime scene instantly unlike the police which has a very bad track of records of arriving to the crime scene after everything ended. Superman would never get stuck in the traffic as well in case some might be complaining it’s the traffic that delayed the enforcement team to arrive “late”. And Superman is so cool that he won’t ever asked “You sure you got raped?” or ”You sure you need help?”.
