Creating A, CNAME, MX entries in your DNS

Some domain manager do not provide DNS definition other than the most basic NS type records such as mine :(

Solution is pretty simple fortunately :D

There are many (free) DNS hosting service available in the Internet. One fine example which I’m using is www.everydns.com. I will be using everydns service for the example below.

Before / After diagram for the example:

Before: domain talks to your NS directly.

After domain talks to everydns, then everydns talks to your server.

First step:

Change your DNS settings in your own Domain Manager to ns1.everydns.net, ns2.everydns.net, ns3.everydns.net, and ns4.everydns.net. REMEMBER! Note down your existing DNS entries!

(Your domain will talk to everydns now)

Second step:

Create yourself an account in everydns. Then, create a primary domain with your domain name in it. Add back your saved DNS entries earlier.

(everydns will now talk to your server)

In everydns, you can now define all possible DNS types for your domain. Job done :D Happy DNS-ing!
