Penang International Dragon Boat Festival 2009

Shame to tell that this is the first tiem I’m shooting for Penang International Dragon Boat Festival 2009 after many years having hosted at the Teluk Bahang dam. The dam is about 25 minutes from Balik Pulau or 45 minutes from Georgetown. This event clocked in for the 30th times this year and that’s quite an impressive record. Calvyn, Chee Hsien, Wendy and few others joined together for photo shooting on Saturday. Enjoy the photos.

Well, as an audience/spectator to the race, it is regretful to tell that the race is too far from the crowd and we can’t really feel the excitement of the ongoing race. Maybe it’s good to bring a binocular around to check out the current standing or so. Hopefully things will get better next year! Anyway, it’s a good spirit and teamwork is the key to success for boat racing!
