If you are trying to install the latest version of Canon Digital Photo Professional (DPP) and being asked for a installation disc (and you do not have one unfortunately) before the installation can continue, you are at the right place.

This is because it can’t find any existing installation of Canon DPP in your current machine, the solution is simple.

  1. Download Canon DPP version 1.0.0. Install.
  2. Download Canon DPP version 3.8.0. Install.
  3. If you are searching for Canon DPP version 3.8.1, please download here.

    wait a sec, may i ask why is it that DPP cannot read CR2 files ?

    You will need to install v1 first.
