It was the fourth day of the Chinese New Year (and in the Lunar Calendar) we paid our visit to the Wuxi Mt. Lingshan Buddha.
A lot of new attractions have been added to the “theme park” or rather the site since my last visit about 8 years ago.
The visitor count on that day was estimated to about 40 thousands and it received more than 50 thousands strong few days back. Whatever China does, it’s on the (massive) grand scale.
The Wuxi Fangong Palace is one of the latest additions to the site. It hosted the second World Buddhist forum in 2009. Let’s take a peek inside!
