This is the very first time I step my foot on Sungai Palas Boh tea plantation field. It was a chaotic moment squeezing through the traffic up the highland and into the tea field in the long weekend. Traveling from point A to B that usually takes a 10minutes becomes a good devastating 1 hour. But never mind, the scenery really pay off!

This is my first time I created HDR Panorama too. There’s actually 3 variations made in processing these HDR panoramic. Tell me which one you like. Personally I love the first in the collection.

Joyce from Motolala also. Nice to meet you for the first time.

I couldn’t catch my breath and got muscle cramp on the way back and It was worse than last time. I think I need to exercise more given my limited little stamina in my body. On the way back Joyce and ChoonYi were the two that are leading the pack and pulled away at steady rate. By the time I reached I can see them practicing dancing. Just imagine how slow I was. Ahahha.. man… I’m weak

Had a great time hiking and sweating. That’s the spirit! Let’s do it again some time in the future! :D

This is probably the best place you can find in Penang with lots of green, far away from the hustle bustle of the big city like Georgetown. Gosh, Balik Pulau just got its first traffic light about 2 years ago. See how traffic-free it is :D.

Geographically, it is located on the south west part of the Penang island. Most of the people here often commute to work at other places like in the industrial area in Bayan Lepas, at the south east part of the island.

These shots are taken at the top of the hill along Jalan Tun Sardon. This is the major link connecting Balik Pulau to the rest of the island.

Preface: Its very easy to create HDR photos, it is NOT possible to produce HDR photo right out from your camera as the range is pretty limited. In order to produce a HDR photo, you need to take the same picture thrice at compensation level -2, 0 and +2. You can google up for more info on creating HDR.

Photos shown in this album are all taken using Canon 10-22mm. I’m loving this lens very much. When its come to landscape or architecture, it simply takes your breath away!

Enjoy the photos and I always welcome criticism. Do help me improve my photographing skills by providing constructive comment. :)

I am already at minimum focusing distance of the lens 0.45m away from the subject and this is how close I can get. This is suggested that I need to break the bank and get some macro lens or converter. :(
