Preface: Its very easy to create HDR photos, it is NOT possible to produce HDR photo right out from your camera as the range is pretty limited. In order to produce a HDR photo, you need to take the same picture thrice at compensation level -2, 0 and +2. You can google up for more info on creating HDR.

I have composed few panoramic view for Bayon temple, Angkor Wat and floating village. In order to make you go “WOW”, please view the image in full resolution. The thumbnails shown here simply won’t satisfy you.

May I present you my humble first attempt into HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography. These 2 photos are taken somewhere around Gurney Plaza, Penang. :D

I went to the JobsDB.com jobs fair at KLCC yesterday and so happened I brought my cam gear there and so happened again there was a fashion show and here I am with this post.

How? Land transport, pay 13 bucks for entrance

What? Spice Garden

Tools : Canon 400D, Sigma 18-200 f/3.5-6.3, Canon 50mm f/1.8 II, Canon 580EX II

Pics worth explaining:

Exif: Sigma 18-200 at 40mm 1/50 f/5 ISO400

Post-processing: Reduced brightness to improve contrast on the overexposed photo. Can you feel what I feel? :)

Additional Note: Taken using polarizer filter .

Exif: Sigma 18-200 at 125mm 1/400 f/10 ISO400

No post-processing!

Exif: Sigma 18-200 at 72mm 1/60 f/5.6 ISO400 Filled flash.

No post-processing! All the flowers actually facing the other side. :(

Exif: Sigma 18-200 at 200mm 1/60 f/6.3 Filled flash

No post-processing!

I am already at minimum focusing distance of the lens 0.45m away from the subject and this is how close I can get. This is suggested that I need to break the bank and get some macro lens or converter. :(
